Summary

Client contracted with Stonehurst to handle all IT support for the COTS safety system. Stonehurst was responsible for working directly with the business in identifying required changes to the system to meet both regulatory and internal process change requirements. Our consultants managed all development, system test, support of User Acceptance Testing and all change control deliverables, conforming to the client's documented CSV guidelines and provided all ad-hoc data requests. We also served as key members for internal audits performed on the COTS system. Numerous changes were implemented that met both regulatory and internal requirements while managing to avoid a full point release from the vendor. This allowed for targeted testing rather than full-blow end to end regression testing as required for a vendor point release saving both time and expense of new executable upgrades.

Safety Data Warehouse and Reporting Solution Implementation

Summary

Client utilized SAS to provide all reporting from the Argus Safety Database. The SAS reporting did not provide a user interface to generate their reports on demand. It also required a new report for the same output across different Products or Studies. Stonehurst worked with the Client IT to design, develop, test and implement a data warehouse using Snowflake with Microsoft PowerBI as the Reporting Solution. Stonehurst and client defined standardized reporting parameters and outputs to allow for significant reuse of reports across products and studies. Power Automate was utilized for sophisticated scheduling and delivery of reports to individual users, Sharepoint locations and error management. The Reporting Solution was implemented in a phased manner to allow for effective testing and training strategy and ensure no interruption to PV Department activities.
